ABOUT OUR COLLARS
What materials do you use?
We offer BioThane® dog collars and paracord dog collars. BioThane® is a waterproof, coated webbing material that is durable and easy to clean. Paracord collars are made using high-strength woven cord for flexibility and comfort.
What is BioThane®?
BioThane® is a strong polyester webbing coated with a waterproof PVC or TPU layer. It is waterproof, odour-resistant, easy to clean, and ideal for active dogs who enjoy muddy walks.
What is paracord?
Paracord is a lightweight yet strong nylon cord woven into a flexible, comfortable collar design.
Are your collars handmade?
Yes. All of our collars are handmade in Northern Ireland with care and attention to detail.
HARDWARE OPTIONS
What hardware options do you offer?
We offer a range of hardware options depending on the product, including stainless steel, solid brass, black coated metal, and other premium finishes.
What is the strongest hardware option?
Stainless steel and solid brass are typically the strongest and most durable hardware choices. They are resistant to rust and ideal for strong or active dogs.
Will the coated hardware chip?
Coated hardware may show wear over time, especially with heavy use or rough activity. This does not affect the strength of the hardware but may affect appearance.
Is the hardware rust-proof?
Stainless steel and solid brass hardware are highly resistant to rust. Coated hardware is water-resistant but may wear faster.
SIZING AND FIT
How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog’s neck using a soft measuring tape where the collar will naturally sit. The collar should be snug but allow two fingers to fit comfortably between the collar and your dog’s neck.
Are breed examples guaranteed to fit?
Breed examples are general guidance only. Dogs of the same breed can vary greatly in size. Always measure your dog before ordering.
Are your collars adjustable?
Yes. Our collars are adjustable within the size range listed on each product page.
STRENGTH AND SAFETY
Are your collars suitable for strong pullers?
Our collars are designed for everyday use. For dogs that pull heavily, we recommend using a suitable training harness alongside a collar.
How strong are your collars?
We use durable materials and secure construction methods. However, all collars should be regularly inspected for wear and tear.
Can the collar break?
Like all pet accessories, collars can wear over time. Regularly inspect hardware, and material. Replace the collar if signs of damage appear.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
How do I clean a BioThane® collar?
Simply wipe clean with warm water and mild soap. Dry with a soft cloth. BioThane® is waterproof and does not absorb moisture.
How do I clean a paracord collar?
Hand wash gently in cool water with mild soap and air dry.
Will colours fade?
Some fading may occur over time with heavy exposure to sunlight or frequent washing, but we use high-quality materials designed for durability.
ORDERS AND SHIPPING
Where are you based?
We are a limited company based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship to UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We are preparing the means to ship to the EU very soon.
Will I have to pay import taxes?
Orders shipped outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties and taxes depending on your country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Can I track my order?
Tracking is available on selected shipping services and will be provided once your order is dispatched.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Can I return my collar?
We accept returns within our stated return period, provided the item is unused and in original condition.
What if I ordered the wrong size?
Contact us within the return window and we will assist you with an exchange if the collar is unused.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Please contact us before ordering if you require a custom size, and we will confirm availability.
